Fruit Jar Drop Cookies Mix in a Jar

1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup crispy rice cereal
1/2 cup mixed colors M&M's candies

Layer all ingredients in a 1-quart fruit jar. Decorate the jar as desired.

Fruit Jar Drop Cookies

Empty ingredients of jar into a large bowl. Combine dry ingredients with 1 egg and 1/4 cup melted butter; mix completely. Drop by teaspoonsful on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes.

Yields 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
